The Isle of Man Film Festival will be presenting a specially curated session this Wednesday 25 May as part of the programme at the first ISLEXPO. In celebration of the Island’s creative industries, DAM Productions, the organisers of the Isle of Man Film Festival, preview highlights of the last five years, including clips from profile documentaries ‘Island Bound’ about blues musician Davy Knowles and ‘The Watchmaker’s Apprentice’ about the world’s greatest watchmaker George Daniels. The program will also include a few favourite short films produced by homegrown talent, along with festival winners. The session starts at 7.45pm at the Broadway Cinema in the Villa Marina.
ISLEXPO will celebrate the enterprising spirit captured by the Isle of Man’s mantra of ‘Where You Can’ and demonstrate opportunities for starting, growing or relocating a business on the Island. Taking place at the Villa Marina, with an exciting programme of thought-provoking keynotes, no-nonsense practical support and industry insights, ISLEXPO will inspire budding entrepreneurs to realise their ideas and encourage businesses large and small to achieve their potential.
ISLEXPO is a free-to-attend event and all are welcome. The exciting programme runs throughout the day.
