Ooo we do like bringing you news of FREE stuff. Especially when it relates to excellent films for big and little people alike!
As mentioned in various updates, unfortunately the Young Filmmaker of Mann competition won’t be happening this year. This left us with a last minute gap in our programme for Saturday afternoon – but in stepped Mike from Isle of Man Film and Kris at the Broadway Cinema who worked their movie magic and suddenly, we have THIS wonderful thing happening:-

FREE screening of ‘FIVE CHILDREN & IT’
Starring Tara Fitzgerald, Kenneth Brannagh and Eddie Izzard, ‘Five Children..’ was filmed on the Island in 2004. From a novel by E Nesbit, it is the charming story of four children staying in their eccentric uncle’s labyrinthine mansion for protection during World War I – who befriend a sand fairy with the power to grant wishes..
So, if you’re in the area of the Broadway Cinema on Saturday and have some children you’d like to captivate for a few hours, or if you’re a Big Kid and just want to see a lovely free fairytale film for nowt, come on down and let us entertain you 🙂 And please share this knowledge with other families who might appreciate it!
