It’s exactly 6 months until our main festival night, and we’re holding a pre-launch event this evening, Thursday 10th March, at Victoria Chambers, the offices of one of our main sponsors, Laurence Keenan Advocates & Solicitors. Supporters, press and sponsors will be shown highlights from last year’s festival, and be given details of early plans for the 2016 schedule of events.
Today also marks the opening of this year’s international short film competition. Filmmakers can submit their work – which must be 15 minutes or less – in a number of categories: Fiction, Comedy, Documentary, and Animation. At the festival proper, finalist films also screen for the chance to win the Audience Vote Award and the Best of Fest.
